If you plan to visit Rome, you may stay at the Hotel Bellavista, which is not very far from the railway station in downtown Frascati. The train line Frascati-Rome provides a very good connection with the Termini central station, with hourly runs. Please note that, during the summer, Rome can experience extremely high temperatures (90F, 33C and above), so you may enjoy the much cooler climate of Frascati which is located 600m above the sea. Indeed, many tourists prefer to trip with the train towards Rome, enjoy the day in the eternal city, and come back to Frascati in the evening. For the late nighters, there is also a (much more expensive) Taxi connection (60 Euro for a 4 people ride, 80 Euro for an 8 people ride).
